About Us
BLARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of individuals and families across the nation.
Growing up in rural Mississippi, we experienced many of the distractions that keep individuals from learning and achieving success in life: low expectations, lack of support and basic resources needed to instill or inspire different outcomes. Many individuals from underserved communities may never reach their potential because of these challenges.
We also know that, through the support of others, individuals and families can achieve well beyond their current station in life. That’s why we’re committed to creating a legacy of support through the BLARE Foundation, and through it provide access and intentional efforts aimed at community building, social and cultural awareness, education and access.
Every person deserves the chance to unlock their full potential. Our vision and purpose is to meet families and individuals where they are to improve lives through access and critical areas of support, mentorships, scholarships, grants and partnerships to help build better communities. BLARE believes the way to solve world problems is via hyper-focused purpose and commitment to changing the world around us; that’s how we create a better future for all.
